Our new Membership and eCommerce features are now available. The WAGS Website will be undergoing further changes into the future.

We are working on upgrading the underlying Content Management System (CMS). This will make the site more secure, and allow us to provide more options. We are also updating the site template which will change the look and feel of the site.

Western Ancestor Sept 2010

September Edition

The Western Ancestor should be in your letterboxes early this week (20th to 24th Sept). Please advise other society members that the journal is on its way.

The new editors (Karen and Jennifer) had hoped that the journal would be out earlier but have had a few "teething problems" with their first journal, and wish to thank you for your patience.

We really want your feedback - positive and negative - please get involved - enter the competitions, submit articles - remember that articles can be as small as a website review. We have taken the liberty of using reviews posted to WAGSnet for the "Caught in the Web" article.

The feature article for this issue has been written by society member Peter Engler about his ancestor Colonel Charles Campbell - a most interesting chap. There is a competition in the journal and we hope you take the time to enter, all entries will go into the draw to win a $40.00 WAGS gift voucher.
