We have received encouraging feedback from the public on our WAGS Tales.

One was from a Shetland descendant in Victoria who wondered if their ancestor was related to Magnus Winwick, in the Tale - A Shetlander in the British Army. Unfortunately not, but for our author Robyn Hukin, it has been a fascinating sidetracking exercise in her own research.

Another emailed to thank the author for the list of article references, as they now have potential resources to help find their own forebear.

WAGS Tales are not only entertaining in their own right, they are providing the public with assistance in their research, and the authors and the public with previously unknown family contacts.
