| Shake Your Family Tree Day |
Shake Your Family Tree Day will be held at the National Archives of Australia 384 Berwick St, Victoria Park on Friday 25th February from 9am - 3pm. This FREE event is a great introduction to what is available in family history research. As well as the National Archives of Australia; the State Library of Western Australia, State Records Office, Royal Western Australian Historical Society and Western Australian Genealogical Society (WAGS) will all have displays.
There will be tours, seminars and demonstrations. You can just turn up to look at the displays and talk to the representatives of the various organisations but you need to book for a seminar or tour (phone 9470 7500). Refer to the program for topics and times.
Drop in and say hello to us at the WAGS Display. You will hear about what WAGS has to offer and you can have a look at some of our books and posters that are available to buy. There will be a special membership offer! WAGS will also be presenting a session, Genie Gems at WAGS at 2pm (you need to book to attend).
