Report - Chris Paton's Visit to Perth & WAGS
A good number of Perth people, particularly those with an interest in Scottish Ancestry, thoroughly enjoyed Chris Paton's presentation on Monday 18th October.
WAGS was also fortunate to have Chris visit our Bayswater Library and facilities. He was very impressed with our Library, and whilst there Chris took the opportunity to have a chat with Liana Fitzpatrick, WAGS President, and recorded a video interview with Edwina Shooter, our Acting Librarian.
The video interview with Edwina is available on Chris's website here: Interview with Edwina Shooter - at WAGS Library
You can also view Chris's written report on his recent visit to Australia, including comments on WAGS and a photo of Liana, here: Scottish GENES - Talks tour of Australia - the report!
Whilst in Sydney, Chris was interview by Unlock the Past's Susie Zada on his experience in Australia. This video was produced by Mike Murray from TimeTrackers, a WAGS Member. This interview is available here: Chris Paton in Australia
Chris is a professional genealogist and regular contributor to several family history publications, including Your Family History; Practical Family History; Family History Monthly; and Discover my Past Scotland. Chris's blog can be found at: Scottish Genes
