WAGS are again taking part in the "Have a Go" Day at Burswood Park (next to the Casino on Great Eastern Highway), on Wednesday 28th October.

The day is organised by the Seniors' Recreation Council of WA and is for the over 45's. There will be numerous activities (eg canoeing, climbing wall, archery, dancing, bridge) and information displays (from all types of local organisations, clubs and government departments).

WAGS will have a promotional display table inside a marquee.

Volunteers will be on hand to help and advise people about the resources than WAGS has available, displaying WAGS information, answering basic genealogical questions, handing out membership forms and copies of our Journal "Western Ancestor", and explaining the benefits of being a WAGS member.
