Celebrate the Women in Your Family 

In the June issue of the Western Ancestor, a new writing competition "My favourite female ancestor'' will be launched. To promote this competition, a display celebrating the women in our families is being held in the WAGS library (unit 5, 48 May St, Bayswater) from the 7-21st May. Come along and have a look at the highlighted books from our Library and the interesting items that were used in the domestic and social life of our female ancestors. You will be kept guessing as to the names and uses of some of the items.

Different displays will be held in the Library on a regular basis every few months; so keep looking to see what will be featured next.
