WAGS M&M events are a great opportunity to Mix and Mingle with other geni people while learning about related topics. And yes, you might even find some chocolate M&Ms.
Ann Spiro, WA Regional Representative of the Guild of One Name Studies, will introduce us to "One-name studies" which is research into the genealogy and family history of all persons with the same surname and its variants.
Through its program of activities the Guild encourages and assists members to share, exchange and publish information about one-name studies. Thousands of surnames are being researched by their members. Come along and learn more about this world-wide organization.
The evening begins at 7pm with a glass of wine and some cheese and biscuits. Ann will start her presentation approximately 7.30pm.
