Great news !  The WAGS Library catalogue (Alice) is now online and can be found in the Members Only area of our website (Wonderland).


You'll find the link in the News/Updates column, above right, on this home page. 


Down the track it may be made available to the public, however while we give it some thorough testing it is being confined to the member's only pages.

Compiled by WAGS volunteers from The West Australian newspaper birth, death and marriages columns, we now have an index available for the 1939 BDM's in the Indexes and Databases section of Members Only area of the website.You need to log in to view the data. 


The BDM's indexing is an ongoing WAGS Project Team effort, and will provide additional indexes for the WAGS website as they are completed.


A few statistics for the1939 BMD indexes...


There is a total of 7,365 entries in the 1939 BDM's indexes, with 8,903 surnames.

			<description>LDS items on loan to the WAGS Library

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' (LDS or Mormons) Family History Library, located in Salt Lake City, Utah, is the largest genealogical library in the world and provides access to many collections of records, with more than two billion names of deceased people. It contains records from more than 100 countries, covering everything from 14th century English church records to African oral histories. An average of 2,400 people, including many visitors from Europe and Asia, visit the library each day.


Through the Australian branch of this organisation, WAGS members can also access the content of this massive collection within the WAGS Library.
