Projects of the Western Australian Genealogical Society

For many WAGS has undertaken projects to transcribe Western Australian (WA) records.  These projects have resulted in unique records becoming readily available to the public for the first time.

Current projects that are underway include:

• WA Passenger Arrivals


• WA Surname Index 1900-1910


• Births and Death Indexes - from WA Papers


• Reunion and Can You Help? - entries from The West Australian
  
  
• WA Cemeteries Index - converting the WA microfiche index produced many years ago by Graham Bown and his team, to a suitable CD format


• Various other Projects are also being undertaken by Special Interest Groups and Affiliated Societies
